Holiday Season and Upcoming Trends for 2019

The Made Man Barber Shop is preparing for its busy holiday season, and there’s a couple things to watch for in men’s hair trends.

Owner Gianfranco Triscari sat down to discuss what’s been happening at the shop this December:

Cuts we’ve been getting more of lately are crops – French crops to be exact, and variations of them. It’s essentially a short, textured haircut. Low maintenance, and it’s like a twist of the military-Caesar haircut. I see it coming more and more into style, definitely a cut to look for in 2019.

Continuing, But our main cut, which I see as always being popular, is the undercut. That’s where the top is disconnected to the sides. Some people do variations to prevent the cut from having such an edgy look, but even so it’s still disconnected.

When it comes to styling, The Made Man has a full range of styling products. Our top selling product for 2018 has been Raw Muk, aka blue muk. It’s a styling mud. It gives a gloss finish, which makes the hair look healthy but not shiny. It has a firm, pliable hold which lasts throughout the day.
